IREX: MEPI Alumni Connection
Oakbeam Pictures was commissioned by IREX to create a series of animated films supporting the release of their biennial report on the impact of the MEPI Alumni programme. The aim was to help communicate the findings of the research in a clear and engaging way, while staying grounded in real outcomes and lived experience.
The animations combined key data from the report with first-hand accounts from programme alumni, showing how long-term investment in education and leadership development translates into meaningful change. Our role was to bring structure and clarity to the material, ensuring that both evidence and personal experience were represented accurately and responsibly.
The project required close collaboration with the IREX team and careful handling of both data and testimony. The resulting films were designed to support understanding, reinforce credibility, and make the programme’s impact accessible to a wide range of audiences, from partners and funders to participants and the wider public.
Alumni Employment
This animation focuses on the impact of the MEPI Alumni Connection program on Alumni employment and features the testimony of a woman from Lebanon who was able to set up her own initiative helping juveniles in conflict with the law and make a positive change in her community.

This animation focuses on the impact of the MEPI Alumni Connection program on Alumni in Leadership roles and features the testimony of a woman who was able to set up opportunities for women in the community to learn new skills and provide for their families.

This animation focuses on the impact of the MEPI Alumni Connection program on Alumni engagement through networking and collaboration with other alumni .
