UNIDO: Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue
Oakbeam Pictures worked with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization to develop a series of animated films for the Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue. The work supported high-level discussions on sustainable industrial development, economic resilience, and climate transition within an international policy setting.
Our role was to translate complex and interconnected policy themes into structured visual narratives that could be understood across disciplines, regions, and sectors. This required close alignment with institutional messaging frameworks and careful attention to tone, accuracy, and global context.
Main Summit Film
The central summit film was developed to introduce the core themes of the Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue and establish a shared frame for discussion. It outlined the role of industry in advancing climate goals, economic resilience, and inclusive development, situating green industrialisation within wider global challenges.
The film brought together key policy concepts and strategic priorities into a single narrative, designed to provide clarity at the outset of the dialogue. It served as a reference point for subsequent sessions, helping participants from different regions and disciplines engage with a common understanding of the issues at stake.
Plenary Introduction Films
Alongside the central summit film, we developed a series of abstract plenary introductions designed to establish tone and thematic direction for key sessions within the Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue.
Rather than presenting detailed policy content, these films focused on mood, pacing, and visual metaphor. They were created to signal the scope and ambition of each discussion, providing a considered transition into complex topics while maintaining alignment with UNIDO’s institutional identity.
The series demonstrates how animation can be used within high-level policy settings not only to explain, but also to frame conversation and reinforce shared purpose.
“The animations were powerful, visually striking, and perfectly captured the spirit of what we were trying to achieve. Oakbeam Pictures’ creativity and ability to bring ideas to life through design and storytelling truly elevated the event.””

Summit Opening Film
The opening film set the tone for the Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue, positioning industrial development within the broader framework of global climate and development goals. It acknowledged the urgency of environmental challenges while emphasising the opportunity for coordinated action.
Developed to resonate with an international audience, the film balanced clarity with institutional formality. It provided a measured introduction to the summit, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, shared responsibility, and long-term transformation.
